Welcome
Generative “AI” can do a lot of things, but properly formatting sets of documents to be filed in court or arbitration and sent to an opposing party will never be among them.
Leveraging proprietary stack design and intuitive AUI, (that’s “Active User Interface”) draft.legal is a first-of-its-kind law and motion/discovery package generator. It’s very easy to use, and always produces perfect results (or it will after I hammer out the last dozen, or so, bugs.) That way, I can focus on just the arguments and authority I put in your moving papers or the questions I ask in written discovery.
draft.legal is currently for the exclusive use of its creator and owner, California attorney Christopher B. Conkle; also whomever else I deem worthy. It’s my toy, and I’ll do what I want with it. You can try it out if you like; it is objectively awesome. User registration is enabled, but you’ll only get to use the platform twice before it locks you out.
Eitherwise, if you need a motion or opposition document package, or a discovery request package, you can email me at contact@draft.legal. If you need full service work on any of the above, and are an employment law firm; go ahead and email me for that too, also at contact@draft.legal.
Seeing as how this is something of a soapbox for me, I do want to make one small observation. Everything done on computers is artificial. Every single time someone mentions “AI” in the context of the legal profession (and to be fair, most other professions too,) they sound very stupid. It would be great if we could all go back to using “AI” as a shorthand for Allen Iverson and nothing else.
draft.legal currently supports civil cases in California Superior Court. draft.legal does not collect or store private or confidential information, and does not store copies of the documents it generates. draft.legal supports the .docx (Microsoft Word) file format only.
